Club Information

Location

Whiteman Model Helicopter Club is based at WAMASC in Whiteman Park, Perth, Western Australia.

The field entrance is situated on Beechboro Road North in the south-western end of Whiteman Park, approximately 2.6km north of Marshall Road.

Facilities

Extensive facilities exist for both members and visitors including:
  • Large, concreted & roofed pit areas with 240VAC power available
  • Enclosed, secure frequency compound
  • Clubroom with meeting room, toilets, canteen and BBQ facilities
  • Ample parking areas
  • Shaded grass visitor areas with a play area for the children
  • Three large bitumen runways for the plankers (fixed-wing) flyers

Opening Times & Admission Costs

The WAMASC field is usually open everyday of the year but the majority of the helicopter flying is conducted on Sunday afternoons from 12pm onwards. There is usually no cost for admission, however, certain special events require a small fee payable at the entrance to the field.
